You Are Made Ready

Lately, I feel like I have been drinking from a fire hose. With so many balls that I am juggling in the air both personally and professionally, I find myself questioning if I can do it all. Last week was one of those weeks for me. And, I made it through.

They say that luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. And, I can see this unfolding for me every day. I know that I have put in the work and that now I am taking terrifying steps forward in the face of fear. And, when I do I continue to prove to myself how strong I really am. I was reminded that I am made ready by a very dear friend of mine who sent me this powerful quote. It gave me the reinforcement I needed and caused me to reflect and remember that life is unfolding for me. A vital reminder to have faith that getting through the hard stuff will only shape and make me stronger while providing me with crisp perspective and an appreciation for the easier times that are coming.

And that is my simple but important message today for anyone dealing with hard times or challenging experiences. Please remember that you are also made ready. Whatever you are being handed, you have the strength within you to deal with it – one step forward at a time.

With love,

Michelle

  1. When the heart speaks, listen. I’m glad I was in the right place at the right time to give you an encouraging word. Like you said, one step forward at a time. And just do the next right thing.
